POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a convicted man who has been recalled to prison.
Richard James Sampson, 29, was convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent at York Crown Court in 2004 when he was sentenced to nine years' imprisonment.
He was released from prison on licence in November last year - but it was revoked in February after he breached a curfew condition of the licence.

Students at St. James High School were evacuated to the gym after an odor of gas was detected in the school early Monday, said Teal Britton, Horry County Schools spokeswoman.
Students who arrived at the school before classes began reported the gas-like odor and alerted officials, Britton said.
A maintenance crew was sent to the school to investigate the cause of the odor.

Residents in the Planters Grove neighborhood of New Albany aren't pleased with a proposal to install cellular antennas atop an existing 169-foot electrical tower at the edge of their community park.
"From an aesthetic point of view, they certainly don't add to the landscape," resident Rich Robbertz said.
"The standards in New Albany are very closely managed, and this just doesn't fit."

The blues are cool and chili can be hot, but the Plymouth Rock Blues Festival next Saturday, March 20, at Memorial Hall will be a little of both.
The Plymouth Rock Blues Festival Chili Cook-Off will feature chili creations from eight local restaurants.
